DIAL-A-CAB FOOTBALLERS
PRESENTED WITH CHAMPIONS CUP

At the end of the last season, Dial-a-Cab qualified for the Champions League Cup competition, which consisted of the top two teams of all four leagues battling it out to find the best team of all (see June Call Sign for a full report).
   After winning through their preliminary round matches, DaC eventually arrived in the Champion's League Cup Final where we defeated Kleinwort Rangers - always bearing in mind that Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein have returned to Dial-a-Cab as clients! We won the close match by 4 - 3 to become Champions.
   The presentation ceremony took place at the end of July in the City of London and the front cover shows seven of the regular Dial-a-Cab players with the prestigious - albeit a bit small (!!!) - Champions Cup.  Then again, the World Cup trophy is only small as well!
   The boys done good...!
