Hello Ladies and Gents,
We are now midway into the summer holiday period and by the time you read this
article, work should start to pickup as London returns to normal working.
E14C
Some drivers have asked me to clarify the procedures that must be
followed at Cabot Square when approaching the E14C rank and as a follow up to
last months article, can I just confirm that you can only book onto the rank
when you are on the left hand side of the road at the rear end of the feeder
rank which as you know, is by number 20 Cabot Square. Please do not book into
the rank from any other part of the square and remember that the rank is
physical.
There are sometimes problems with the radio signals in this area,
so if a driver directly in front of
you is on the rank and has a higher queue position than

yourselves, please act in the right manner by booking off the
system to correct the problem and then booking back on to E14C again.
EC5
EC5 is physical from midnight until 6am and you must remember
to book off this rank if you are not actually in Finsbury Square from the
time the rank changes from it's non-physical state at midnight. Drivers
are complaining that they are following these procedures correctly only to
find that their queue position is much higher than it should be when they
|
book back into EC5.
GOLDMAN SACHS
We are now covering on average around 100 trips each night
on
this account between the hours of 18.00hours and midnight. Our
Peterborough Court marshals are doing an excellent job and many drivers
have now become frequent users of this rank which will increase in size in
the coming weeks.
Can I just confirm that all relevant procedure sheets for
both old and new terminals are available from the marshals at Shoe Lane
and of course they are on site to help you with any problems or
difficulties you may have.
There is one small amendment to the new terminal swipe
process and that is to remember to swipe the double sided charge card from
left to right with the large yellow Dial-a-Cab logo and CCC sign facing
upwards. All other procedures remain unaltered.
