Any eagle-eyed TV viewers would have noticed a
familiar face on the box at the end of September. It was that of
DaC’s elder statesman, Sid Gold (E20) who was appearing on
BBC1 in Car Booty with his
son, daughter-in-law and grandson. Sid, who seems to be appearing in Call Sign quite regularly nowadays, was selling his collectables to raise money for a romantic weekend in Paris for son Larry and daughter-in-law Kimberly. "It was hard work in front of TV cameras," Sid told Call Sign when we asked him how he had enjoyed filming the show, "but we had great fun and the film crew were great to work with.
