Firstly, a
huge thank you to all the drivers who continue to support the
accounts I have brought to our business, as well as those who
support our "Driver Lead" initiative. It’s also great to get
feedback from drivers regarding new and existing accounts. As a
result, I’ve been able to pacify a few companies who had been
considering not using us through a problem of some sort, because
drivers have communicated those issues to me promptly, along with
hot new leads. Please keep it up…
As we are in the business of winning new business, I trust you will
be delighted to learn that we are doing just that. On the back of
our strongest October for three years, we are well placed for a very
busy yuletide and 2004. Secondly, our commitment to provide
excellence is helped by our consistency. Unlike our competitors, we
are always able

to respond promptly to administrative issues
and any driver queries; our team work well together! The challenges
we embrace are raising our profile and indeed our position in the
marketplace. We are perceived well within the trade and by our
customers too. In the two years I have worked for DaC, I have learnt
that we cannot please all the people all of the time, however I do
believe we are winning over the majority! I am charged with finding
"new business", that can |
come from
many directions and I explore all opportunities…
We operate in the service industry and it’s good to remember - it’s
nice to be nice! With our triumph on the Rugby field and the party
in the streets as a result, it is a time to enjoy being British.
That, along with ice on my windscreen and I have to say I am feeling
quite festive, although it is still hard to believe Christmas is
around the corner again!
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all my colleagues,
both out on the road and here at HQ for their support this year, and
look forward to seizing even more market share in 2004.
