DAC CLIENTS CHRISTMAS LUNCH AT TRINITY HOUSE |
A very pleasant lunch to a musical quintet. Under the watchful gazes of many celebrated and historical figures such as Lord Louis Mountbatten, Winston Churchill, King Henry V111 and Elizabeth I, the Dial-a-Cab Board together with the Society’s Senior Account Managers, wined and dined guests from our most prestigious account clients at a pre-Christmas luncheon. It was held within a heartbeat of London’s business sector and a stone’s throw from the Tower of London, at the beautiful Trinity House. In a short address, DaC Chairman Brian Rice told guests that this luncheon was our way of thanking them for their valued custom throughout the past year. He went on to add that the London Taxi trade was usually a good barometer of the general economic climate and that DaC had recently enjoyed a very busy period. "This," he said, "was hopefully, a good omen for others to look forward to so far as their own business fortunes are concerned." Gary Gates shows off his Trickery. © Call Sign Magazine MM04 |
During the
afternoon, a quintet played a selection of popular and light
classical music while Dial-a-Cab’s own Mr Magic, Gary Gates,
entertained guests with his sleight of hand. All present agreed
that it was a very pleasant afternoon.
