On a very pleasant August summer's evening, Dial-a-Cab's Brian Rice and
Howard Pears put away their pin striped suits and replaced them with their
chef's outfits in time for the annual DaC staff barbecue. Twenty-four hours earlier and a similar number of hours later, would have seen the beer garden awash as the heavens opened, but on this one day, the heavens smiled and the Brunswick House evening staff took full advantage of the twosome's gourmet delicacies during the lunch breaks, while other staff just popped in to have a nosh and a glass of something before going back to where they had come from!
